hi, i’m gianna!

My passion for creativity started in high school, where I was involved in a performing arts creative writing program. I wrote everything from poems to short story’s, and even tried journalistic-style pieces. That led me to Syracuse University, where I studied Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism for two years before taking an Introduction to Graphic Design class. Making something impactful without words was something new and interesting to me, and soon I realized my heart was pulling me away from writing and towards design. Today, I am fortunate enough to be designing and illustrating graphics and websites for clients. 

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I received a B.S. in Graphic Design with minors in Sociology and Psychology, and am interested in the intersection between design and society.

Some of my skills include typography, photography, UX/UI design, motion design, and illustration – along with others you can find on my resume. I am well-suited for designing across many platforms and media. For the next year, I will be calling Newhouse home for just a bit longer while participating in the Advanced Media Management Master’s program.
